در این مطلب قصد داریم چند تست مشابه کنکورهای سال های قبل برای شما مهیا کنیم.
ابتدا دو تست لغت (استفاده شده در کنکور های اخیر) تهیه شده است.

در مطالب قبلی چند بار گفتم باز هم تکرار میکنم که معنی لغات را با تعریف انگلیسی و مترادف انگلیسی به خاطر بسپارید.
Imagine: 1. form a mental image or concept of, visualize 2. suppose or assume. j
Inspire: 1. fill (someone) with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially to do something creative; stimulate; motivate; cause. j
Consume: eat, drink, or ingest (food or drink); buy a product. j
Take part: join in an activity; be involved; participate. j
پس گزینه d صحیح است.
All of my plans and decisions about the studying abroad is up in the air, in fact, I am ---- about my plans. j
a) amused b) annoyed c) surprised d) uncertain
Up in the air: (of a plan or issue) still to be settled; unresolved; uncertain
(همون روی هوا بودن خودمونه)
Amused: finding something funny or entertaining
Annoyed: slightly angry; irritated
Surprised: feeling or showing surprise; amazed
Uncertain: not able to be relied on; not known or definite
به عبارت هایی مثل up in the air که معنی کلمه به کلمه خود را در جمله نمی دهند idiom می گویند که جدیدا در سوالات کنکور مشاهده شده است.
پس uncertain گزینه d صحیح است.
So far
So far به معنی "تا اینجا کار"، " تا اینجا" یا " تا الان" می دهد. پس معمولا همراه با یک فعل در یک محدوده زمانی تمام نشده رخ می دهد می آید (present perfect). (کنکور ریاضی 1400)
Kepler space telescope ---- five new Earth-sized planets beyond our solar system so far. j
a) has discovered b) was discovering c) will discover d) had discovered
had discovered که past perfect است معمولا با یک فعل گذشته دیگر می آید. با توجه به توضیحات بالا باید زمان فعل گذشته و present perfect باشد.
Too and enough
ساختار
too + adjective/adverb
too much/many + noun
adjective/adverb + enough
enough + noun
معنی
Too به معنی بیشتر از کافی یا بیشتر/کمتر از لازم می باشد.
- It’s too late to stop him. j
- Jerry was too young to watch the movie. j
- There are too many people on this train, there’s nowhere to sit. j
- You have too much money, give some to me. j
- You’ve eaten too many of those cakes. j
Enough معنی کافی می دهد.
- Your clothes are big enough to fit me. j
- You’ve done enough work. You can stop now. j
- Have you got enough money to buy me a drink? j
✔ Enough در جملات منفی نیز معنی کمتر از کافی یا لازم می دهد.
- You’re not working fast enough, you won’t finish on time. j
- Sorry, I haven’t got enough food for everyone. j
- Not enough of my friends are coming to the party. j
In order to not having a boring and improper speech, you should do --- practice and make sure your talk is not ---- long or ---- . j
a) too, too, too short b) enough, too, too short c) enough, enough, the shortest d) too, enough, as short
خب با توجه به توضیحات فوق، باید تمرین کافی انجام شود پس جای خالی اول enough است و زمان سخنرانی نباید بیش از لازم طولانی باشد پس جای خالی دوم too است و همچنین بعد از or معمولا قبل از آن تکرار می شود پس گزینه سوم نیز too است. پس گزینه b صحیح است.
Venus is ---- the Earth_ --- hot for life as we know it. Therefore, it can ---- by humans. j
a) hotter than, too, not be inhabited b) the hottest, enough, inhabit c) hotter than, too much, inhabit d) the hottest, enough, not be inhabited
جای خالی اول مقایسه دو چیز است. Venus و earth پس Hotter than گزینه صحیح است. اگر مقایسه یک چیز با همه مجموعه بود hottest صحیح می بود. (توضیحات جامع راجع به این موضوع در مطالب قبلی موجود است). خب وقتی Venus داغ تر از زمین است پس برای زندگی بیش از حد نیاز داغ است پس too یا too much صحیح است. بعد از جای خالی سوم نیز by داریم پس فعل موجود باید مجهول باشد و توضیحات کامل و دقیق درمورد مجهول کردن افعال Modal در پست های قبلی آمده است. پس گزینه a صحیح است.
Used to
ما از used to + infinitive استفاده می کنیم که در مورد یک موقعیت در گذشته صحبت کنیم که الان صحیح نیست. این به ما این مفهوم را می رساند که یک عمل یا حالت تکرار وجود داشته است ولی الان تغییر کرده است. چندین مثال با همدیگر ببینیم:
She used to be a long-distance runner when she was younger. j
I didn't use to sleep very well, but then I started doing yoga and it really helps. j
Did you use to come here as a child? j
be used to get used to
be used to معنی آشنا بودن (be familiar with) با و یا عادت داشتن (be accustomed) به می دهد.
She's used to the city now and doesn't get lost any more. j
He wasn't used to walking so much and his legs hurt after the hike. j
I'm a teacher so I'm used to speaking in public. j
ما از get used to وقتی استفاده می کنیم که بخواهیم درمورد فرایند عادت کردن (در حالت عادت کردن) به یک چیز صحبت کنیم.
I'm finding this new job hard but I'm sure I'll get used to it soon. j
It took my mother years to get used to living in London after moving from Pakistan. j
I'm getting used to the noise now. I found it really stressful when I first moved in. j
In free writing, you should not worry about spelling or punctuating correctly, about erasing mistake, about organizing materials, or ---- exact words. j
a) finding b) how to find c) about finding d) the finding of
همانطور که در پست های دیگر توضیح دادیم بعد از or معمولا شبیه قبل از or می باشد پس گزینه c صحیح است.
Rescue helicopters had searched the whole area for the missing hikers for five hours before they finally ---- them in a remote area. j
a) were found b) would found c) were finding d) found
اگر مطلب های ما را دنبال کرده باشید متوجه شده اید که بعد از before معمولا زمان فعل بعد از دیگر فعل در کل عبارت می باشد. همچنین had searched یک فعل past perfect است پس باید یک جمله گذشته دیگر در جمله باشد. البته در جمله ما by یا نشانه دیگری از فعل مجهول نداریم پس گزینه a صحیح نیست و تنها گزینه صحیح d می باشد.
When nature first developed this intricate and adaptable organism, human eyes ---- mainly for outdoor work. j
a) used b) we used c) were used d) have been used
خب از جمله مشخص است که فعل باید مجهول باشد پس گزینه های a و b به راحتی حذف می شوند. و در پست های قبلی ذکر کردیم که وقتی زمان انجام یک فعل مشخص است نباید از present perfect استفاده کنیم. پس باید از مجهول simple past استفاده کنیم پس گزینه c صحیح است.
در آینده در یک پست حتما در مورد مجهول کردن افعال به صورت جامع حتما بحث خواهیم کرد.
